What does a naturopath do?
A naturopath looks to treat the underlying cause of illness using nature, and helping the body to heal itself as it was designed to.
What qualifications do you have?
Paul our naturopath has a number of qualifications:
Adavanced Diploma of Naturopathy (including acupuncture)
Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Medicine
Advanced Diploma in
Certificate IV Massage
Paul has trained for 3 years full time at the Australian Institute of Holistic medicine as well as having been invited back to lecture and supervise at the student clinic.
Can I claim on my health fund?
Yes. We are covered with over 50 health funds and have instant electronic claiming avaialble for many of them. It's important to check with your fund whether you have selected the cover which includes naturopathy.
Yes we have a provider number for HBF. Although we have the electronic claiming machine with our eftpos facility, a number of funds haven't come on board for their members to electronically claim with naturopaths. More are joining all the time.
